April is Colorado Architecture Month, a celebration of Colorado architecture and design. The event, hosted by The American Institute of Architects (AIA Colorado), features several free programs and educational opportunities for the public.
Events and programs range from the Delicious Designs, a program that celebrates Colorado architecture through fun and creative desserts to the popular Denver Box City for Kids, where children experience the design and construction industry firsthand by requesting permits, ordering materials, designing buildings and constructing those buildings into a cardboard city.
Learn more about those and other events.
The education experiences are important as you determine the fixtures, plumbing, hardware, green design elements and other aspects for homes and businesses.
